Holiday that changed what I want to do in possibly 5 years time

It's been over a week now since I'm back from Cala D'or Mallorca and all I can say is I miss it alot. 


What I miss about it is the heat, the sun, and the beach. Cala D'or centre is the best place to stay if you want to go to Cala D'or. We were in Cala Egos which is 2-5mins from Cala D'or Centre, it is a nice quiet place well at night anyway it's not for people who want a loud nightlife...but it was perfect for myself and my boyfriend. But if you do want a nightlife then take a taxi or to make your journey more entertaining then I suggest to take the mini train...it's cheaper than the taxi. You'll thank me later. 


There isn't much to do in Cala D'or it is just a place for the beach and sunbathing...careful with your feet because the sand burns! We went on an excursion to Drach Cave...it's a must see and there's a treat at the end of your 45min walk in the cave...just don't mind the children crying (if you can). 


The thing I regret is not visiting the other places around Mallorca...


What this holiday did for me was that it made me realise that even though I love where I live right now I do want to move away from here because as much as Ireland is a beautiful country the weather is really unbearable(for me anyway). 


I definitely recommend going to Mallorca and if you love the heat then go in July. O and I was told by a local that if you want to swim in the beach when the water is warm go there in September...I know it's kinda weird but hmmm if the local recommended it then it must be true.
